Trackside Support When It Matters

During 2026, I had the opportunity to coach at a BMX World Cup for the first time in Sarrians with Team Ireland, supporting Rueben Byrne, Danny O'Gorman and Carly Hayes as they competed in their first World Cup. It was a memorable first trip for the four of us, and I had the privilege of passing on my experience to guide and coach them throughout the week.

I made two visits to Sarrians in one month. During European Championships week, Tyler Chadwick, Ryan Giles and I supported 12 riders. We provided practice, rest and race-day support to riders and parents, helping their race week run as smoothly as possible. The group achieved three podiums, another finalist placing and several personal-best results.
